Job Title: Music Instructor
Location: Annapolis, Maryland Corps
Position Type: casual part time, approximately 2-4 hours per week
Pay Rate: $40/hour
About this opportunity:
The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Music Instructor for the Annapolis Maryland Corps. Qualified candidates will:
- plan, coordinate, and direct the functions of the School of Music program
- ensure the quality of programs and safety of youth at all times
- provide guidance and role modeling to youth and ensure safety and a positive experience for the students
What we are looking for in you:
Licenses and Certifications:
None, but valid Driver’s License, preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Some physical requirements of the position could be endurance including standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate musical activities/programs and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have a willingness to work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available.
