The Director Blessed Beginnings is responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of grants and other funding, as well as providing comprehensive wrap-around case management services for pregnant women, single parents, and families within the community. This role requires a dedicated individual committed to promoting self-sufficiency, fostering healthy pregnancies, and strengthening family foundations through a range of supportive services. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and deliver high-quality services to our clients.

The Expertise We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, public health, or a related field.

  • Five (5) year’s of experience in social services, with a focus on maternal and child health, pregnancy support, or family services.

  • Two (2) year’s of management experience

  • Valid Texas Driver’s License

What you Deliver

  • Manage all aspects of the Pregnancy and Parenting Program, ensuring compliance with grants and other funding requirements and Catholic Charities' policies and procedures.

  • Monitor program outcomes and performance metrics to assess effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements. Develop and implement program goals, objectives, and strategies to support the mission of promoting self-sufficiency and healthy families.

  • Provide wrap-around case management services to pregnant women, single parents, and families, including assessment, goal setting, service planning, and monitoring progress.

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify clients' strengths, challenges, and support needs. Develop individualized service plans in collaboration with clients to address their needs and goals.

  • Coordinate services and referrals to social and governmental programs, including healthcare, housing, financial assistance, and other support services.

  • Collaborate with Counseling program to provide counseling and emotional support to clients facing pregnancy-related challenges, including prenatal care, childbirth, parenting, and family dynamics. Offer crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed to address clients' immediate concerns and stabilize their situations.

  • Facilitate group sessions and support groups on topics such as life skills, personal finance, parenthood, and job training.

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, government agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery and access to resources.

  • Represent Catholic Charities at community events, meetings, and conferences to raise awareness of the Pregnancy and Parenting Program and build collaborative relationships.

  • Supervise and support program staff, to ensure they have the necessary training, resources, and support to carry out their responsibilities effectively. Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development activities to promote a positive work environment and foster team cohesion.

  • Collect, analyze, and report data on program activities, outcomes, and impact to stakeholders, funders, and regulatory agencies. Prepare grant reports, narratives, and other documentation as required by funding sources and organizational guidelines. Participate in program evaluations and quality improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Perform other duties.
